Meet Dr. Sandhya Ravi

Dr. Sandhya Ravi graduated from Guntur Medical College in India. She completed her pediatric residency training from Wake Forest University Medical Center in North Carolina. She is board certified and a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. Being a resident of Peoria, she opened a practice closer to her home.

Dr. Ravi enjoys being a pediatrician and takes pleasure in watching the kids grow and being an important part of their life. Although she emphasizes on all aspects of Pediatrics, her main areas of interest are to encourage reading and preventing obesity in children.

Dr. Ravi has been happily married for 15 years to her husband who is a computer engineer. She has triplet boys born in 2000. There never is a dull moment at her house. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family/friends, and traveling.



Meet Dr. Michaela Knies

Dr. Michaela Knies graduated from Commenius University in Slovakia. She completed her Pediatric residency training at St.Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr.Knies is very excited to join Pleasant Pediatrics and continue to dedicate her professional life to the well-being of children and their families. Beside general pediatric care, she is interested in pulmonology, allergy and obesity prevention.

Dr. Knies is married and has two boys. Phillip is 12 years old and Matthew is 7. Both boys play ice-hockey at the international level. Beyond the medical field, Dr. Knies likes reading, travelling, sports and spending time with her family, specially watching her boys playing ice-hockey.



Meet Elizabeth Rattle, PA-C

Elizabeth Rattle, PA-C graduated from Midwestern University in 2009 with a Master of Medical Science (MMS) Degree Physician Assistant Studies with a focus on pediatrics. She has always loved working with children and enjoys watching as they grow and develop. She has a passion for educating not only the parents but also the kiddos on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing childhood obesity.

Liz is an avid sports fan and originally being from Wisconsin, never misses the opportunity to watch the Packers or Brewers play, or UNC basketball. She has 5 nieces and nephews that she absolutely adores and loves being Auntie Liz to. In her free time she loves to travel (especially back to Wisconsin to see her family), play softball, hike, cook, and sing. She looks forward to taking care of your kiddos.
